ABOUT THE WORK
Hand carved from stack laminated MDF and coated with Tadelakt plaster, this piece speaks to a language similar to pre-Columbian glyphs. The primary geometries and concentric embrace of the pieces components is an attempt to juxtapose this kind of pre-Columbian animism with a more contemporary urban vernacular.
